my lego train obsession is getting a little out of hand.
This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.
my lego train obsession is getting a little out of hand.
I must be in an emotional mood this morning because this made me cry a little.
Tonight I finished my tapestry kit of Alan Measles, the god of the imaginary world of the artist Grayson Perry. I picked it up a few weeks ago at the tomb of the unknown craftsman exhibition, which I would highly recommend and is a good excuse to have afternoon tea at the British Museum.
I’m a strong believer in an active imagination and think everyone should have an imaginary friend to believe in, mine is a knitted monkey called monty. Unfortunately Monty is very judgemental when it comes to my clothes, so I might be better off talking to god, at least he won’t tell me off when I wear double plaid by mistake.
Cool song with sign language in the video. I even recognise some of the signs.
Reading this at work made me cry a little. :o(
